Machine Tool Integration Services
A successful integration of a Makino machine into your manufacturing environment requires advanced expertise in automated material load/unload, customizing machine operations and third-party equipment. Makino Integration Services provides full automation engineering services, including cell controller programming, robot reach services, robot end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) gripper design, robot programming, conveyor designs, third-party technical management and human management interface (HMI) development.
As part of the service, a Makino cell controller performs a series of automated functions, including showing an overview of the cell status, control robot start/stop and access to robot work area, gauge cycle counters, cell runout, part-type selection and part tracking.
Every integration solution provided by Makino Engineering Services encompasses each step of the project, from start to finish, and beyond. To achieve this goal, Makino divides these steps into four components:
A single point of contact throughout the project, your Makino project manager is the one person you can always count on to answer questions and deliver solutions. The project manager oversees third-party vendors, coordinates activities between all parties (Makino, vendors and you), tracks and reports the project’s schedule, and manages project changes.
